These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Website and the online American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) exam preparation courses and related materials (collectively, the “Services”).
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. By accessing the Website, creating an account, or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.
1. User Accounts

2. Course Enrollment and Access
Single User License: Upon enrollment and payment, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course materials for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Access Duration: Your access to the course materials is for a specified period as described at the time of purchase. Upon expiration of this period, your access will be terminated unless you renew your enrollment.
Prohibited Use: You may not share, sell, rent, or transfer your account or course access to any other individual. Sharing login credentials with others is a direct violation of these Terms and will result in immediate termination of your access without a refund.
3. Intellectual Property Rights All content provided through our Services, including but not limited to course videos, text, graphics, quizzes, downloadable materials, trademarks, and logos (the “Content”), is the exclusive property of Lone Star CWI LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You agree not to copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any of our Content without our prior written permission.
4. Payments and Refunds
Payment: All payments for courses must be made through the payment methods available on our Website. You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes associated with your purchase.
Refund Policy: Our refund policy is as follows:
A full refund will be granted if requested within 48 hours of purchase, provided that you have not accessed more than 15% of the course content.
No refunds will be issued after 48 hours from the date of purchase or if more than 15% of the course has been accessed.
To request a refund, please contact us at Support@lonestarcwi.com. Refund eligibility will be determined at our sole discretion based on our records of your course access.
5. User Conduct You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from:
Using the Website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with any other party’s use of the Services.
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any course materials, user accounts, or computer systems.
Posting or transmitting any material that is harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

6. Disclaimers
No Guarantee of Success: Lone Star CWI LLC provides educational materials to help you prepare for the AWS CWI examination. However, we do not guarantee that you will pass the exam. Your success depends on your personal effort, study, and other factors beyond our control.
“As Is” Service: The Services and all Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Content Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, the Content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on the information provided in our courses.
7. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lone Star CWI LLC, its affiliates, and its employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Indemnification You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lone Star CWI LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from your use of and access to the Service, or your violation of any term of these Terms.
9. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
